Applications for the entering class of 2009 are now available. Applications for the fall quarter must be received by January 14, 2009. Please apply here via our online system.
The minimum requirement for admission is a baccalaureate degree. Additionally, applicants must have a health sciences-related graduate or professional degree (e.g., M.D., Pharm.D., M.S.N., M.S. in epidemiology) or have substantial prior experience in health research or health care.
Although there are no specific course requirements for admission, the core curriculum assumes that students have substantial computer literacy, and a command of the basic life sciences, introductory calculus, and elementary statistics. In addition, students should have additional coursework or experience in some aspect of computer science, which could include database or algorithm design, elementary knowledge of a programming language, software engineering, or database or system administration.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from international students at this time. All applicants must be either U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents.
